Hey, I’m Aaron Black! I’m a comedian and writer from New Jersey who recently moved to LA. Since moving to the city of angels I have performed at Flappers Comedy Club, The HaHa Café, The Comedy Store, and The Ice House.
I started doing comedy in Burlington, Vermont, where I was going to school at the time. During my second year I broke my leg kayaking, which was fine until my oxycodone prescription ran out. Instead of seeing a therapist I decided that sharing my problems with a whole room of strangers was preferable, so I started doing stand-up comedy. On stage you can catch me talking about having a girlfriend, not having a girlfriend, calling my ex-girlfriend too much, those kooky restraining orders, arson charges, and airplane food…just to name a few. If you want to know more about me, please check out my OK cupid account.
I was recently a semi-finalist in the Uncle Clyde Comedy Competition, the winner of the HaHa Cafe Comedy Competition, and have opened for such notable comics as Laurie Kilmartin (Conan), Brent Morin (Comedy Store, Conan), and Mary Lynn Rajscub (24, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia). Currently, a sketch I created is featured on thelaughbutton.com. Come see me live or put me in a show…please….I’m starving!
